Yesterday

Yesterday we went to two schools where we spoke to students about their schools. We tried their school food in their cafeteria which was very different from the school food that we have in the United States (it was delicious!).

After, we had our last salsa lesson. We learned so much in those intense three days.

For dinner, we went to a restaurant where they danced salsa and tango while we ate. They were only slightly better than we were (no, much better). After dinenr, we got to show off our bew salsa moves when they pulled everyone up to dance. We had a lot of fun!

  1. Falicia and Will (and Tori if you are in town)- you need to give the Dyckman Project folks some salsa lessons. (I’ll compare it with what I learned from El Salvadoran refugees in the last century.)

  2. We are so happy that you are enjoying your adventure in Colombia and that you are trying to taste its flavors, colors, music and dance. That’s the perfect way to get in touch with the culture. We can’t wait to see you in Cartagena and in our university Tecnologico Comfenalco.
